Heine of the Flame (炎のハイネ Honō no Haine?) is one of the Four Heavenly Kings in the Demon Army.

Appearance[]

Heine is a beautiful dark skinned demon woman with a pair of horns sticking out of her head, she has white hair, red eyes, generous curves and large breasts. She wears a skimpy red-trimmed outfit. She has an oddball aura.

Personality[]

Heine comes off as a proud and confident demon, because of her high ranking position in the Demon Army. She especially enjoys being addressed by her title, which makes her easily manipulated.

Although she is a demon, Heine has a kinder sympathetic side, feeling bad by both Grimm's and Gadalkand's brutal deaths that she witnessed, and breaking in tears in tense situations.

History[]

Heine confronts Combat Agent Six's commando unit after they attack the Demon Army's supply convoy. She becomes interested in Six due to his combat prowess, trying to convince him join the Demon Army twice when they met in the battle field but he refused, sexually harassing her in the process.

During one of their many confrontations, Heine lost her magacite, losing most of her power. After she tried to attack the Royal Capital after the Hero's absence, Heine witnessed Gadalkand's death at the hands of Six, and she accepted the one month truce between Grace and Demon Kingdoms offer before running away.

During the events of volume 4, Heine and Lilith The Black enter combat with one another, with Heine very quickly losing to the Kisaragi executive. Immediately following this, Heine indirectly causes the death of the current demon lord Mehlmehl.

After the surrender of the Demon Kingdom, Heine is forced to work in a new powerplant constructed inside the newly built Kisaragi base as a water heater.

Powers & Abilities[]

As per the name of her title, Heine's power mainly focuses on Fire Magic.

  • Crystal Catalyst: She uses her magacite to catalyze her magical energy, creating blue fireballs.

Relationships[]

  • Combat Agent Six: Heine notices and uses Six's perversion to try and recruit him to the Demon Army. She was left traumatized by the constant defeats and humiliation every time they cross paths, being the only human she really wishes to kill.
  • Gadalkand of the Earth: They both worked together more than once. Heine was left in shock and tears after witnessing his death.
  • Russell of the Water: They both are friends and partners, and although Heine doesn't share Russell's desire to eliminate the humanity, she deeply care about his well-being, seeing him as a child.
  • Snow: Even when she underestimates Snow, they both have a competitive relationship, the interests of both nations are fighting with each other, so both fight for their important stuff
  • Viper: Heine deeply cares about Viper, and often worries about her well being, and Six's weird nature giving her weird ideas, as he often does. Viper likewise often tries to help Heine with what she can, as she greatly appreciates her service and loyalty. Though Viper's naive and innocent nature often results in causing her great concern funnily enough, often offering to take her place in punishments and jobs, like "putting on a show" for six and others.
